Chettinad Chicken:
Ingredients:Chicken-500gms, Onion- 1large finely chopped, curry leaves- 1/4cup, lemon juice- 1/2tsp, oil- 3tsp, milk- 1cup, water- 2cups, Grind these ingredients into paste: Ginger 1piece, Garlic 4 flakes, coconut grated 1/2cup, coriander seeds- 1/2tsp, fennel seeds-1/2tsp, black pepper-1tsp, whole red chillies 4nos.Cloves1or 2 nos.Salt to taste, turmeric powder 1/2tsp.
Method: Take a frying pan add oil, onion, curry leaves and fry until brown. Add the prepared ground paste and chicken pieces and cook for 20 minutes. Once the chicken is cooked add 1cup of milk and lemon juice.
